El Mariachi: Conservative Mexican Fare

If El Mariachi‘s food was as vibrant as the decor, I’d be singing a different tune.  I’d love to see this little restaurant let loose with the vibrant flavours of fresh market ingredients Mexico is known for using in their food.  Have a listen to my CBC restaurant review here, or read the web article here.  The restaurant/grocery store is located at 10991A – 124 Street.

Pambazo, a sandwich made of white bread slices dipped and soaked in red pepper sauce, and stuffed with chorizo and potato.
Choriqueso, a melted cheese and chorizo dip.
