Alberta Yak from Springridge Ranch

An update on the Yak meat available from Springridge Ranch near Pincher Creek: Ranchers Russ and Melissa Friesen have started their own blog, you can find it at So far there’s still only one place to purchase the meat in Alberta and that’s at Horizon Meats in Calgary. It sure would be wonderful to have a regular supply of it here in Edmonton.
